I made a spreadsheet of activities again, with estimated time spent on it per week. Some activities have to do with goals, such as AJATT or learning programming frameworks, while others describe categories of actions, such as eating, preparing food, transportation, and working in the office. It looks tough. I have things rated with priority A through H; I get to a defecit before I get to D. The things has me in the red before I get to things like "homework" and "socialize with family".

It doesn't feel like I aspire to all that much. How does anyone manage? What of those full time students or full time, 40-50 hour per week employees who don't know what the hell to do with themselves the rest of the time? It doesn't matter to me how people choose to spend their time, but the sensation remains mythical to me. I've had many days where I had basically no responsibilities, and it still felt somewhat busy, or at least heavy with shame/guilt over what I had avoided.

I think it has to do something with energy. Time doesn't always seem to say "opportunity", when you're standing right next to it.

I have about two weeks of leeway before an additional set of fall classes begin; this means a good chance to put in more hours and narrow the deficit.
